Hi, my name is Ms. Ross. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Northern Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario. I come from a very small town (yes, even smaller than Montross) and have loved libraries since I was a child. I worked in my very first library when I was in High School and have not stopped since. My mother is a passionate and voracious reader and had instilled this in me from a very early age. I'm a huge fan of Dystopian Literature and my favorite book is In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, a true crime classic. I look forward to meeting every student at W&L and providing the same desire to read no matter your level, interest or time commitment. Good reading habits are ESSENTIAL to lifelong learning, academic success and not to mention, FUN! In addition, I hope to impart the necessary skills to impact students as future learners and citizens!
